" Finance Assistant - Customer Payments Want to make a real difference to the lives of people? For almost 90 years, The Riverside Group has been providing affordable housing across the UK as well as care for the elderly and support for those who face homelessness. We're now looking for a Finance Assistant - Customer Payments to play a crucial role in helping us transform lives and revitalise neighbourhoods. The difference you'll make Carry out financial and administrative duties to ensure the effective processing of rent payments to support Customer Services. Provide clear, supportive and accurate advice to customers and colleagues via telephone or in writing, on Customer Payment policies and procedures. Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders as appropriate and escalate for line management intervention as required. So, who are you? You'll have experience of processing customer payments, preferably processing rent payments within a housing environment. You are proficient in the use of MS Excel with excellent attention to detail. You are customer focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills, showing the ability to met the needs of a varied customer base. You are results focused with the ability to work under pressure and deliver to strict deadlines. You take ownership of tasks and manage conflicting priorities effectively. You are an excellent team player who can work flexibly to meet business requirements.
