Overview
Job Description
We are looking to recruit a caring and compassionate Staff Nurse with excellent interpersonal and communication skills that has previous experience/knowledge of working within Addiction Services' to join our Drug & Alcohol Recovery Treatment Service (DART) within HMP Haverigg. You will be expected to provide Care Co-ordination to service users with drug and/or alcohol issues, to work in collaboration with formal and informal partnership agencies and multidisciplinary teams within a prison setting; to support the patient's treatment journey and embed the recovery agenda. The role will require an element of autonomous working, decision making skills about recovery care plans and treatment interventions; you must have a strong commitment to the delivery of high quality safe care. You should have an interest in working within a busy and challenging environment as well as the ability to demonstrate a warm, person centred approach to care. You will work in a highly supported environment, and will be provided with training opportunities to further develop your knowledge and skills. Essential requirements of the post are; First level Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse. This post will be subject to relevant Security Clearance.
