Job Description

+ The Credit Risk Analyst is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team. **Responsibilities:** The CPB Investment Finance (IF) business offers a diverse range of products covering margin and securities backed loans, residential and commercial real estate lending, FX and Derivative trading facilities, Art and Aircraft loans as well as Private Equity Capital Call facilities. The Collateral Monitoring Unit acts as a control and support function for the CPB IF lending organisation. The team are responsible for monitoring collateral positions versus exposures, issuance of margin calls, loan funding approvals and providing interim credit authorisation for securities trading and other client account activities. This role supports the US and LATAM markets so flexible working arrangements are in place. Daily working times are 10am to 6pm , with requirements for individuals to cover until the US market close on certain days of the week. When covering until market close, working from home arrangements in place to reflect local start and finish time (2pm-10pm). + The ideal candidate must have excellent technical skills and the ability to learn and work with a very complex in-house data management system. + The position will require gaining a detailed familiarity with Citi's standard forms of documentation, technology, and internal procedures. + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. **Qualifications:** + Previous relevant experience + Makes judgments and recommendations based on analysis and specialty area knowledge. + Researches and interprets factual information. + Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. + Exchanges information in a concise and consistent way as well as be sensitive to diverse audience **Education:** + Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
