What you'll be doing One of the cornerstone challenges being solved at Gravity Sketch is to help designers bridge the gap between 2D and 3D content creation in their workflow. To this end, we have developed the first and only professional design tool for VR, which we are currently bringing to other devices such as tablets, smartphones and desktop via our relationship Wacom. As our users will be switching between devices to ideate, collaborate and communicate with others, it is paramount that the experience between these is as seamless and free-flowing as possible. The Interaction Lead will be an innovative thinker and tinkerer, with a passion for solving these types of user-experience challenges and developing the best experience through research and deep understanding of our users. You will need to help define and uphold current design principles, driving the evolution of these as Gravity Sketchs offering expands. The successful candidate will be a creative visionary with a passion to bringing real-life experiences into the digital world by challenging current thinking of technology interaction through research and extensive user testing. Finally, The Interaction Lead will work closely with the CTO and CEO to manage the design teams work in line with sprints and the product roadmap. Requirements What we look for * Humble, empathetic individual, with a can-do attitude and drive to continuously learn * Self-motivation and a great team-player attitude * A great "can do" attitude and open-mindedness to non-traditional solutions is essential * Business-orientated mindset, with an understanding of how design helps drive business decisions * Strong ability to quickly generate wireframes, physical and digital prototype * At least 3 years of experience working in the design industry, working on creating innovative, holistic experiences through products and services working on multi-platform products * Experience working in a startup as a design leader, or in a reputable multi-disciplinary design agency * An impressive portfolio of personal work and projects demonstrating the development and successful delivery of products and experiences that demonstrate research skills and clear workflow * Experience managing multidisciplinary teams * Highly organised, methodical and flexible individual * Excellent written and verbal English communication * Strong ability to evaluate and distill user feedback and research to suggest improvements on existing products Bonus points if you have * Background in industrial or product design * Experience working with immersive (AR/VR) technologies * Experience working to Agile and Lean methodologies * Personal independent projects
