Hours of work: Rota basis shifts varying on a weekly basis between 8am and 9pm . Our services are delivered in a way which supports the global nature of our firm and our clients, enables our fee earners to deliver exceptional service to our clients and to do that in a way which is efficient and effective. Our Centre in Manchester is the first site to be established in the emerging Freshfields Global operating model. Our aspiration is to establish further sites in the US and Asia-Pacific in the coming years. Function Overview The Legal Services Centre provides transactional support to the global firm, using established processes and procedures to ensure consistent and high quality work. Role Purpose A highly established magic law firm based in Manchester is looking for a Global Work Allocator to join their Freshfields Hub department. The work allocation team ensures that all inbound firm-wide service requests are appropriately processed and that all resources within the work allocation control are utilised effectively. Key Responsibilities and Deliverables As a member of the Work Allocation Team your role is to provide high quality support to the work allocation team acting as the first point of contact for worldwide fee earners requesting work to be carried out by the department. More specifically you will: * Schedule, scope and plan document specialist or paralegal availability for projects by using knowledge of personnel skills to ensure fee earner requirements are met and a quality service is delivered in a timely manner; *
