Padstow has fast become a jewel within the North Cornish coastline with many famous visitor attractions surrounding it making it very popular all year round. Therefore we require a dedicated operative who has a passion to keep the environment clean and tidy so that the entre visitor experience can be one to remember. Joining our team, youll share our commitment to clean up our towns across Cornwall and undertake duties in relation to the collection of waste and recycling and removal of litter, debris and weeds. The Biffa division youll be supporting. Biffas household waste division is a leading service provider to local authorities, providing household waste and recycling collections, street cleansing and other services. Within our household waste division, we employ c.3,566 people and have a fleet of c.1,487 waste collection vehicles, operating across the country from 44 depots Requirements Heres what we require: We are looking for a person who enjoys a challenge, can fit into a team of people or work alone and who is proud and committed to the service they provide. Youve got to enjoy being outdoors in all weathers and meeting the public. Applicants must be physically fit to complete all duties and be willing to undertake any necessary training to fully complete the role. This role will include work such as lifting bags, sorting recycling, emptying bins pushing a hand barrow, wearing protective clothing and safety shoes.
