Your Purpose As the Operations Manager - NIGHTS , you are accountable for the performance of the site, and all of the processes within during our night shift. You will manage a team of Process Manages, and Supervisors, whom will have c150 people operating across multiple processes. About the role You will have accountability of the performance of all processes whilst you are on shift, delivering to the required KPIs, to deliver service to our clients, you will need to be capable of managing multi-faceted processes, with varying levels of automation and manual KPIs, with P&L accountability under the roof, and service KPIs for clients. The key responsibilities will be the performance of the Inbound, Outbound, Manual and International & Returns Process Managers whilst on shift as well as shift performance, compliance, client service levels, health and safety, employee engagement. In your role you will have accountability for shift costs and will need to demonstrate strong cost leadership by sending detailed shift reports, root causing failed KPI's supported evidence and an action plan to improve. You will actively promote and drive consistency to ensure the delivery of excellent operational standards through Lead by example in creating a high-performance people orientated culture within the function that thinks inside the box. Responsible for all H&S and quality audits including risk assessments and safe systems of work in your areas. Who we are looking for You will be managing or will have managed a fast paced, e-commerce or retail supply function, with KPIs and P&L accountability, with the highest levels of customer service and people engagement and development skills. You will be operating in a multifunctional site, of large scale, and confident in dealing with internal commercial requirements and maximising a team to deliver efficient results against critical time lines. Someone with strong People and Cost Leadership skills to drive performance. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, who is data driven and can use data to influence, challenge and drive performance and compliance.
