If so, we might just have the perfect role for you Role overview As the Lead developer of the Shared Tech team, you will be working on new technologies supporting our current and upcoming projects. The focus of the team is centered around production of software supporting game development which can include portions or R&D. This can take the form of tools, sample technology or external vendors solutions. Responsibilities * Lead development of technology solutions that can be applied to our games, especially in the area of production acceleration * Hire, Mentor, Coach, in other words Grow the Shared Technology team into a Critical part of Bossas Creativity and Nimbleness focus * Coding software to be used by our teams as tools or example for the creation of our games * Advising and Collaborating with the game teams to best use the Shared technology * Ensuring quality of the code you and your team writes, leading innovation in a clean, usable, and polished way * Supporting your fellow programmers with code, design reviews and mentoring * Participating in all of Bossas games life cycles with suggestions and feedback as well as generating new game concept during our regular gamejams Requirements * Care for delivering usable result and eagerness to see them used in production and by our players * Yearning for improvement through honest feedback from your peers and the community * Belief that the best way is not written in stone and changes for the better are welcome * Passion for making and playing games across genres * Creative, innovative, and conscientious in solving complex technical problems * Focused but adaptable; flexible and open to change within a fast-paced team environment Experience * Strong professional experience with complex technology solutions applied to games * Strong communicator especially in the context of complex cross team collaboration * Delivering usable software professionally * Team leadership * Making game prototypes or delivering full games * Used to work in teams, with an appreciation for all the different skills needed to build software * Expert in software development practice and tools (IDEs, source control, automation, etc..) * Experience (applied or otherwise) with Machine Learning a plus.
