Job Description
The Digital Editor is responsible for the strategy, management, and development of news, fashion, lifestyle, and other content on Vogue.me, with a specific focus on content relevant to the region. The Digital Editor is expected to make arrangements to ensure that content is fresh and relevant every day of the week. Among other things, this will include creating an editorial calendar that highlights the major events and themes for coverage, under the guidance of the senior editorial team, and guiding a team of writers and translators to produce and post content. The Digital Editor will collaborate with and report to Vogue Arabia's senior editorial team, working as part of a team across editorial and branded content. The right candidate is strategic, organized, tenacious, calm under pressure, and able to juggle numerous tasks, as you will be involved in all areas of Vogue Arabia's editorial operation. The ability to effectively plan and execute a detailed editorial approach is critical. You should be fazed by little and able to solve all problems, great or small, calmly and efficiently. * Working under the senior editorial team to guide and fulfill the editorial vision for Vogue Arabia across digital channels (website, social media, etc.) * Writing stories and producing multimedia content across Vogue Arabia's digital platforms at the appropriate volumes required * Guiding a team of digital writers for content development and publishing across digital channels * Collaborating with the rest of the editorial team (both print and digital) to maximize and optimize content output * Collaborating with the commercial team on branded content projects (both ideation and execution) * Representing Vogue Arabia at industry and brand events * Think and act strategically with the intention of strengthening Nervora's and Vogue Arabia's brand and position within the market * Experienced in a premium editorial environment and multiple years of editorial leadership experience * Robust regional network of contacts and a deep understanding of regional culture * Strong understanding of online publishing and digital platforms * Results-oriented personality and demonstrated track record * Strong consultative sales and relationship building skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills * High energy and passion Apply This is an extraordinary opportunity to be part of a growing edition of Vogue.
