Part time Morning CAREGiver Home Carer Companion, Home Help and Personal Care
Overview
Job Description
Do you have some spare time in the mornings? Maybe you would like to fill this time with something more fulfilling? We are offering a role which gives the same satisfaction of making a change as volunteering does but you get paid for it! There's no contract to say you have to do set number of hours, however what we do ask is that you have commitment to the lovely ladies or gentlemen you are allocated to. We are so much different from other home care companies. As oppose to seeing how many calls we can fit within a set number of hours; in and out of a call in 15 minutes, we focus on building relationships between our CAREGivers and clients, that's why our visits are at least 1 hour. Being a CAREGiver at Home Instead is an opportunity to change somebody's life for the best. Independence is often something we take for granted, you would be helping an elderly person in their own home remain in their own home independently for, hopefully, the rest of their life. Wouldn't you want to be part of something so special and priceless? Do you have spare mornings and can offer mornings every other weekend? If yes, then we would love to hear from you! Qualifications: Now, for the requirements! *A caring and compassionate nature is a must! *We ask that all CAREGivers hold a driving licence and have access to a car - your lady or gent may need taken to the shops or an appointment at some point. *You must complete 4 days (2 days one week, 2 days the next) training. This comprehensive award-winning training is free and highly valuable to your role as a CAREGiver. *Depending on your lady or gents needs, there may be a little personal care required, this could simply be able to help them button their shirt or reach their feet for them to put their socks on.
