Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised and committed nurse who is passionate about high standards of quality patient care for patients and families. The opportunity has arisen for a fixed term contract /secondment position in the Practice Development Team as the Clinical Facilitator for medicine. This will be for a period of 12 months. You will work collaboratively with the Lead Clinical Educator and Clinical Facilitators for Pre-Registration to deliver training and education and to support the practice and professional development of all student nurses related to the care of patients within all Division, in accordance with national and local guidelines and ensure that they are competent and fit for purpose. You will also work as part of the Practice Development Team to facilitate training and education to clinical staff Trust wide, ensuring that staff are competent to deliver safe and effective care. This is an essential post for nurse education in clinical practice and a fundamental requirement of the role is consistent and effective role-modelling and leadership for nurses and other professional groups within the Division and Trustwide. You must be a registered Nurse with a passion for nurturing and teaching underpinned by consistent strong values and be able to influence change through persistence, diplomacy and vision.
