Payroll Specialist Chichester, UK Fixed term contact - 12 months For over 200 years we have been helping people and organizations develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. The Payroll Specialist will work within the Payroll department, based at Chichester; this role will be focused on the UK and EMEA payrolls. The payroll specialist will work closely with HR, Finance and other teams to ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for updating payroll with data received from HR and making sure this is SOX compliant. * Updating payroll with all variable data received internally and data received from outside sources. * Responsible for updating all statutory leave, making sure these are in line with HMRC policies. * Updating the Stock option exercises on payroll and maintaining the spreadsheet provided * Responsible for the payment of the overseas payrolls in conjunction with the payroll agents and relevant payment to local authorities. * Prepare final payroll checks prior to payroll submission * Responsible for the distribution of P45's to leavers. * Responsible for updating and reconciling year to date payroll figures for HMRC and submitting payment details to Finance. * Assist with ongoing payroll benefits and associated schedules for year end. * Filing of all monthly payroll paperwork * Assist in the preparation and reconciliations of the payroll accounts. * Address payroll queries in a timely manner * Assist payroll Manager with any ad hoc tasks as required Skills required: * Payroll qualification or experience. * Experience of large volume payroll - ideally ADP iHCM * Good Personal Organisation, Planning and Time Management * Flexibility/Adaptability; self-awareness and interpersonal/collaborative skill-set. * Good communication skills and can respond quickly to inquiries * Excellent Microsoft Office skills and oral communication skills are a must. * Can work to tight deadlines and under pressure. * Good English and preferably French About us At Wiley, we help people and organizations develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
