About the team: We are hiring a Carpenter to work within the Estates & Facilities team at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. The Trust provides NHS care and treatment for people with mental health problems in seven London boroughs and nationally. You will cover community properties. About the role: This job is for a Carpenter who has a good general knowledge of domestic and commercial buildings. In your duties of maintenance there will be statutory checks in line with Approved Code of Practice (Building Regulations, HBN & HTM). In the performance of your role you will be expected to form good working relationships and show a customer service approach with clients, staff and contract personnel.Please give a brief description of the role and bullet point the key are About the location: The post-holder will be based at the Bethlem Royal Hospital, but on occasions will be required to travel to other Trust sites . We also provide services and operate across other locations, such as London boroughs of Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark; and substance misuse services for residents of Bexley, Lambeth, Greenwich and Wandsworth.
