Job Description

Responsibilities We are growing our presence and the United Kingdom is a key focus. We are looking for a Head of Business Development for the region, who will be responsible for conquering the market. Reporting into the Business Development Director, you will: * Oversee a territory * Manage a pipeline of insurance customers * Inspire business leaders with your vision of AI for their company * Negotiate and close deals by navigating complex organisations * Grow deals from 6 to 8 figures by expanding AI within the org * Become an evangelist for Tractable's technologies and the capabilities of AI * Develop novel insights into your customers' needs and influence product roadmap Requirements * Experience structuring complex deals with large organisations * Capable of building trust and rapport with senior enterprise management * High autonomy self-starter, comfortable in early stage company with R&D heavy product * 7+ years' experience at tech company or relevant startup * Willingness to travel within the United Kingdom to close deals * Education from top tier university preferred * Experience in data science and/or insurance not required, but is a plus What You'll Get * Competitive salary and commission scheme * Equity stake in a fast-growing business * Experience negotiating SaaS deals of the largest size * Participation in bringing AI to the real world
