Job Description

Willow ward at Barnet Hospital is a 17 bedded female gynaecology and surgical ward. We cater for patients who may be admitted through an emergency or elective route. We currently have a vacancy for a Band 5 Staff Nurse who has gynaecology or surgical experience or who is interested to work in this area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team. The successful candidate must be flexible, a good team worker, have excellent interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator with patients, colleagues and the wider MDT. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care within the ward whilst caring for a group of patients. You will be expected to undertake link nurse roles that you have shown an interest in and auditing activities as delegated by the senior nurse. Due to social distancing and Covid 19 pressures you will be contacted if successful in shortlisting with further details regarding an interview. We will use Zoom and similar tools to conduct testing and interviews.
