Role Summary The successful candidate will be working as a Microsoft professional services consultant You will currently be working with Azure and O365 technologies and have a solid background in all Microsoft on-premise Windows 2016/19 server technologies where you will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Active Directory, Certificate Services, DNS, Windows Server Clusters, Hyper-V, ADFS and IIS. You will demonstrate excellent working knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS products and have an excellent knowledge of O365 including the design and configuration of hybrid Active Directory configurations, Conditional Access, MFA and Intune. You must have proven experience of Exchange Online and Exchange server, including designing, upgrading and configuring hybrid on-premise environments. You will have experience in migrating users and mailboxes between on premises environments as well as between on premises and Office 365. Online and on-premise SharePoint/Teams experience is desirable including upgrading and migrating on-premise environments to SharePoint online. You must be able to script using PowerShell. Windows 10 upgrade and deployment experience is also desirable, including the use of SCCM to control rollout and Windows 10 AutoPilot. This role is customer facing, with 30% travel. You must be able to communicate over the phone and run customer workshops to a technical and non-technical audience. You will be responsible for building proof of concept deployments and running pilot trials ahead of full-scale deployments. Act as pre-sales subject matter expert and work on tender reposes and customer proposals including production of bill of materials and statement of works documentation. Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for greenfield Windows Server 2016+ AD and Azure AD hybrid designs and implementation. * Responsible for designing and upgrading customer environments to support hybrid Active Directory and hybrid Exchange. * Responsible for designing and configuring EM+S capabilities such as AzureAD, Conditional Access, MFA and Intune. * Migrating customers between different cloud and on-premise domains * Migrating customers from on-premise SharePoint servers to the equivalent O365 online services * Decommissioning legacy on-premise environments * Identify automation opportunities Skills/Experience Essential Technical Skills * 3+ years expert level understanding of Azure IaaS and PaaS services * 5+ years historical understanding of Windows server * 5+ years expert level understanding of Exchange server 2010, and hybrid configurations. * 3+ years experience working with Office 365. * 5+ years PowerShell scripting skills. * Experience in Active Directory or Exchange migrations with Microsoft or Quest Migration Manager toolsets. * Broad knowledge of email and mobility solutions * You should have some form of Azure, O365 and/or Microsoft Windows Server qualification to at least MCSA level Advantageous Technical Skills * Exposure to Azure ATP/AIP services * Exposure to other directory systems like Novel NDS. * Historical hands on experience of working with SharePoint 2010+ and SQL * Exposure to MigrationWiz * Windows 10 Deployment Qualifications * Degree Qualified 2:1 or above * Azure MCSA * O365 MCSA * Windows Server 2012R2 or 2016 MCSA, MCSE ideally Competencies and Behaviours * Strong interpersonal skills * Highly motivated * High levels of attention to detail * Able to deal with potentially aggressive/antagonistic situations Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment * Able to work both on own initiative and as part of a team * Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in stressful situations We offer: * Full-time position start as soon as possible.
