Job Description

As a Lead Proposal Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the dynamic sales process and sales associates by providing written proposals for RFP/RFI/RFQ's in response to client needs. You will be focusing on delivering high quality, client-specific written proposals, often within a limited period in a deadline-driven environment. You will analyse the received proposals, work closely with the sales leaders, and Cerner's centralized Proposal Advisor and Strategists based in the US, to obtain the required inputs for the tenders at-hand, combine responses from cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization to create quality messaging to client questions about Cerner offerings, coordinates the timely completion of client facing proposals in high quality, and will ensure the successful submission of the same. When you will join our team, you will need to follow the Cerner internal bidding processes to successfully schedule the strategic calls and meetings (Kick-off calls, Assignment calls, Review Calls, etc), draft a Bid Plan, interact with the Sales Team to understand the client strategy, as well as the Cerner solutions and/or services being proposed. You will be responsible for coordinating resources from across Europe and US and review final written drafts for consistent and accurate responses. You will be gathering proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals. You will be responsible for preparing the final proposal presentation by evaluating text and graphics, as well as maintaining high quality content by following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone. You will work with key stakeholders to obtain the necessary approvals. You will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement lifecycle by working on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing the key tasks to meet all the deadlines. All employees must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
