Job Description

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the administration of the day-to-day functions within the International HR team. He/she is the primary point of contact for employees and first line managers with questions general people support and employee relations. This person must thrive in fast-paced environments, be able to manage through ambiguity, change and complexity, while supporting the impact to a global organization. This role requires excellent communication, facilitation and organization skills. Responsibilities: Support line managers in all aspects of the employee lifecycle - performance management, employee engagement etc. Manage the onboarding and buddy process including developing creative and innovative onboarding material, engagement with new hires and all administrative requirements. Produce employment offers and complete all new hire paperwork. Provide full support to the International HR team with administrative and project based work. Work closely with the recruitment team to manage headcount and a seamless onboarding experience. Engage with the local Amazon HR operations team where required. Recommend new approaches, principles and ideas to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from database. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to deliver high quality work, be detail oriented with advanced time management and organizational skills. A strong work ethic, be proactive and have the ability to succeed in an environment of ambiguity. Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, in a fast paced environment and manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency in office tools and relevant HR systems (e.g. MS Office suite of tools, Workday and PeopleSoft). CIPD, currently part qualified, part study or full qualified.
