This Vacancy Our geriatric and acute stroke medical wards care for patients across 3 sites of the city, Northern General Hospital, Royal Hallamshire Hospital and SPARC @ BeechHill. You can chose to specialise in dementia care; caring for older people with Parkinson's disease; caring for older people specialising in shorter length of stay, caring for older people as part of the integrated nursing and therapy team, and caring for patients on the acute stroke pathway, following their journey through to rehabilitation and home. About Us We are a diverse Care Group covering acute and community services. We offer both permanent ward posts and bespoke rotational posts, covering our specialised geriatric medical wards, Sheffield Frailty Unit and acute stroke and rehabilitation pathway, from admission to discharge. We offer an individualised induction and support package, supported by clinical educators. We offer a 3 day foundation stroke programme and specialist competencies, with the opportunity to undertake a stroke module at degree/masters level at Sheffield University.
