Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a positive, enthusiastic and committed individual who is flexible and has a desire to make a difference to help and support people. My client provides a supportive environment for learning and development and is keen to meet candidates who are seeking to progress their career. Duties and Responsibilities: * Support older residents, people with dementia and or mental health problems * Assist residents with personal care, including dressing, undressing, mobility, personal hygiene, eating and drinking * Document and report any changes in residents health status * Provide person centred care * Ensure residents safety and well-being * To undertake certain domestic duties as identified and required to maintain the high standards of cleanliness within the house * To provide support to a level that both encourages and enables service users to maintain or improve their levels of independence in relation to daily living skills * To involve and encourage service users to take an active role within their home whether this is in relation to domestic type chores, activities, service user groups etc Requirements * Care Certificate or NVQ level 2 recommended but not essential * Experience of working with the elderly * Good Communication skills * The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years' experience in the care of older people, Mental Health and preferably in a dementia care environment Benefits Salary: 8.25 - 9.25 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications) Closing date: Monday 11th November 2019 Contact: Amandeep at Job Paths 4 U Job Paths 4 U is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
