Job Description
We are seeking a highly-skilled, motivated and experienced Children's Home Deputy Manager for a Residential Children's Home in Essex. The successful candidate will support the aims and objectives of the setting and assist the Manager in the organisation of a high quality establishment for Children and Young people. The aim's of the home are to ensure a safe, homely and therapeutic environment for vulnerable young people. Deputy Manager Duties and Responsibilities: * Ensure that the service delivery is compliant with the Company policies and procedures * Leading by example ensure that the highest standards of person-centred care and support are delivered at all times * Demonstrate evidence of quality assurance and best practice ensuring work practises/processes are managed effectively * Ensure that assessments, care/support planning and related documents are robust, effective and regularly reviewed * Demonstrate effective leadership of the people who work at the service * Ensure that staff are effectively deployed to optimise service delivery considering resource allocation, skill mix and utilisation Requirements * Level 3 Children & Young Peoples Workforce Diploma with social care pathway (or equivalent) * Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services with Children and Young People's Residential Management Pathway (or equivalent) * Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation (Essential) * Experience in working in relevant health and social care setting (Essential) * Knowledge and understanding of Ofsted standards and regulations guiding the provision of care and support Benefits * Competitive salary * An employee focused training and development program * Employee benefits scheme * Promotion Opportunities Closing date: Friday 1st November 2019 Interview: ASAP Contact: Priya at Job Paths 4 U Job Paths 4 U is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
