Find your future with us. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, energetic and driven Business Analyst to join Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) in Bristol . About the role: The Business Analyst will be expected to engage proactively with business departments to identify and define business requirements, then reach across to the rest of Boeing Defence UK IT resources, wider Boeing teams and external suppliers to deliver solutions. As a part of a small team within a very large enterprise, the role requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability. In the Business Analyst role, it is essential to have the confidence of both business and technical staff and act as the facilitator between both groups of staff. The candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to discuss ideas and concepts with staff of all levels. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for: Business process analysis applying adequate techniques Identifying and communicating opportunities for business improvements Where needed, engaging with various stakeholders to ensure the successful tasks completion Delivering a variety of support services to clients both directly and via large-scale programmes Analyzing requirements and defining solutions across BDUK programmes, from initiation phase through to business readiness and implementation Conducting presentations and running meetings Actively contributing to the Business Analysis capability What we are looking for: Excellent English oral and written communication skills Excellent business analysis skills Excellent organization skills with focus on effective prioritization Experience with managing multiple projects and taking a leading analysis role Experience with stakeholder management, building and maintaining successful relationships across all business Pro-active and customer-focused approach Drive for continuous improvement Knowledge of IBM DOORS and Sparx EA is desirable and would be beneficial Understanding of and working knowledge on both agile and waterfall projects would be an advantage Understanding of Information Management and Architecture would be beneficial All information provided will be checked and may be verified.
