Job Description

Cloud Imperium Games are looking for a HR Officer to join their rapidly expanding company. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Officer is responsible for providing general HR services across the business providing support on the administrative side in addition to supporting projects and handling employee relations. Main Duties and Responsibilities - Support the administrative side of the HR department; - Ensure all HR information systems and reports are promptly and accurately updated; - Provide employees with advice and assistance regarding human resource issues, policies and procedures; - Assist with training initiatives for employees and managers; - Support the HR Manager with various employee welfare issues, grievances and disciplinary investigations; - Monitor absence management and handle any absence concerns across the company; - Support with the duties involved in managing visa sponsorships, processing applications and carrying out right to work checks to ensure compliance with UK Immigration; - Management of company benefits including adding new members and recording scheme information; - Assist with preparing monthly payroll changes; - Support with a range of HR projects to enhance employee engagement and retention; - Create data reports when required for company planning and projects; - Assist recruitment with employer branding initiatives; - Monitor exit interview data findings, highlighting reasons for leaving and trends in turnover and suggesting action points for the HR department; - Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR practices; - Ensure company compliance with employment legislation; - Perform general HR administrative tasks and any other delegated duties considered appropriate in line with the role. Experience and skills - Educated to degree level with a part of full CIPD qualification; - Prior experience working within a similar role is essential; - Experience handling employee relations matters - Committed to providing a helpful, friendly and responsive HR service; - Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality; - Exceptional organisational ability and time management skills; - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Confident in communicating at all levels within the organisation; - Numerical and analytical skills; - Patient, calm and flexible nature in approach to workload; - Experience with Microsoft word software package - primarily Word and Excel; - Accurate data entry skills with excellent attention to detail including proofing; - Proactive attitude, takes initiative to contribute effectively to the HR team.
