ROLE: Digital Designer - Social LOCATION: adidas, Amsterdam ROLE MISSION This role is to work near site to the European headquarters for adidas in Amsterdam. This growing creative production team delivers cross channel campaigns for all Europe markets, across all their categories including Originals, Running and Football. We are looking for an experienced and multi-skilled Digital Designer with a social channel focus. THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF... ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING You'll be working with a leading sports brand with an unmatched history and tradition of creating iconic products, consumer connections and experience. Adidas has been defining sport culture since the beginning. And they're not done! Lastly, the office is located just a 5-minute bike ride away from the beautiful Nelson Mandela Park so you will never find yourself stuck for things to do! WHAT YOU WILL YOU BE DOING: * You will be responsible for the creation of moving and static social content for reactive moments, extend storytelling for brand and commercial campaigns, and oversee creative for a dynamic content platform. * You will be highly immersed in the social channel, working directly with social media platforms and key client and team stakeholders to stay up to date on channel best practices for effective creative. * Receive briefs to repurpose existing creative assets, videos and content supplied, and redesign to create memorable, effective content. This includes motion design and animation. * Bring your own ideas and creative thinking to seemingly simple briefs. * Reporting to the Creative Lead, you will work with a team of designers and a copywriter in Amsterdam. You maintain relationships with a supporting team of motion designers and editors in other sites. * You will be working across many different categories and campaigns, producing design to the client's brief and exacting standards. You will need to proactively manage projects within agreed timescales taking into account quality and consistency. * Maintain highest standards of quality control and attention to detail * As we foster a close working relationship with the clients you must be comfortable at presenting and taking client feedback. Building trust is key to producing better work and it's essential to drive to our growth and success. WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE: * Passion for keeping up to date with social media trends and best practices * Excellent Adobe CS skills with great knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator with the ability to produce bespoke digitally drawn assets from scratch. * Proficient in the use of After Effects and associated motion software * A passion for 2D motion graphics design and animation, with the ability to animate a variety of styles of techniques. * You'll have a deep affinity with layout, typography and present ideas. * Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team * Great organisational skills with experience working on multiple projects at once. * Strong time management and able to deliver great work in tight timelines. * Demonstrates a positive and 'can do' approach at all times. * A mindset that thrives in fast paced environment, with high volumes of activity * A portfolio demonstrating your experience. * Experience working in an advertising agency; sports and lifestyle category is a plus * Desire to learn and offer new skills (particularly digital) and do this without being prompted ABOUT OUR COMPANY Lots of agencies say they're different.
