Role overview We have an exciting and brand new opportunity for an experienced & entrepreneurial legal professional. As Bossas first Head of Legal, you will play a pivotal role, being responsible for all legal matters and for building Bossas legal capability, initially in this stand alone role. Its an opportunity to join Bossa at a critical point in the companys journey and make a big impact in supporting its growth. Responsibilities * Act as a business partner to the various teams at Bossa, supporting their legal needs * Define and implement key processes for the legal function * Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements on behalf of the business * Work with outside counsel when required on complex issues and oversee their management * Provide pragmatic and commercially-minded advice to the C-suite on a variety of legal topics with strategic ramifications (ie open sourcing, UGC policy) * Set up and maintain the required processes and governance policies, to ensure that the company conducts its business in compliance with applicable laws and regulations * Represent the function at senior management meetings as may be required from time to time * Prepare and deliver training to the business on legal and regulatory requirements as required Requirements * Minimum 5 years PQE * Outstanding analytical, communication and organizational skills, including excellent drafting and negotiation skills. * Sound business judgement and flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple wide-ranging matters * Capable of providing practical legal advice to members of business teams at all levels and across all functions. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively * Experience across a range of commercial gaming deals (publishing, licencing, etc) preferred Benefits * Annual Holiday Allowance - 22 days, to increase 1 day after every year up to a maximum of 25 days * Private Medical Insurance Provided by Bupa * Life Assurance Tax free lump sum payment of 4 x annual salary * Pension Scheme We match up to 5% * EMI Share Scheme - Generous lump sum of shares awarded upon joining which will vest over a 4 year period * Flexible Working - Work from home days and flexible core hours 10.00-16.00 (standard hours 09.30-18.00) * Supportive family policies - 6 months fully paid maternity leave and 3 months fully paid paternity leave * Employee Assistance Programme - 24/7 Helpline * Cyclescheme - up to 1,000 loan deducted from monthly salary over 12 month period * Discounted gym membership * Travel to Work Loan Loan deducted from monthly salary over 10 or 12 month period * Food - Free snacks, fruit and drinks * Social Events - We have fantastic company culture and loads of fun social events
