RWDI is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Wind Engineering Team as a Wind Engineer at our Milton Keynes office, with an initial focus on bridge aerodynamics. This role includes but is not limited to: Solving challenging engineering problems in consultation with clients and internal project teams, An initial focus on bridge aerodynamics, but ability to branch out to other environmental and climatic fields of expertise in time, Planning and coordinating all technical aspects of assigned projects, Preparation of reports, technical papers and presentations as well as providing support for preparation of proposals and marketing material, Working under the general supervision of senior staff with considerable latitude for the exercise of independent judgment. We are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications: MSc or PhD degree in Engineering, with a background in wind engineering, 2-5 years' experience in Bridge Aerodynamics (testing or numerical) is preferred, An aptitude for practical problem solving and proven ability to successfully meet deadlines, Ability to work on or manage a number of projects at once, Experience with Excel/VBA automation and/or scripting languages (e.g. Matlab, Python, Octave, T-SQL) an asset. Candidates should also possess: Excellent written and verbal communication skills An ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision Exceptional organizational capabilities, coordination and consultation skills Strong people and team skills as well as highly motivated Please submit your cover letter and resume.
