Overview Chameleon is looking for an exceptional Account Director to join our growing team in our Manchester office. If you enjoy directing the management & delivery of multiple global accounts across a wide variety of medical communication & digital solutions then we have a great opportunity for you. The role: You will be responsible for delivering strategic plans and aligned execution; ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, on budget and to specification, while maintaining the very highest standards of compliance. Directing client and internal strategic planning meetings, having excellent time management and financial management skills as well as being able to add value to the overall development of the team and client relationships will be your forte. You will liaise with the Business Development team to assist in new proposals and pitches and will be keen to grow both the business and your career. You will independently manage a medical education plan from strategic concept development through implementation and financial reconciliation, driving daily development and execution of account initiatives, and serve as a main client contact. You will also leverage your scientific acumen and tactical experience to assist in the organic growth of the account, as well as manage administration for direct reports. Responsibilities: * Ownership of key deliverables for strategic alignment with client expectations * Senior resource for client, ensuring resolution of day-to-day account issues * Creating effective partnerships with clients, internal teams and external vendors * Regularly meeting with clients to review status and prospectively plan future work * Leading development of proposals/pitches on accounts * Developing financial account plans, including forecasts * Leading and motivating the client services team with an emphasis on professional development and ensuring the smooth running of accounts * Managing resources for all projects in close collaboration with senior Client Services management and other departments as appropriate Professional/Business: * 5+ years' experience in a medical communication agency * Experience of running an account team * Excellent commercial awareness and customer focus * Good organisation and planning abilities * Excellent communication (written and oral), analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills * High level of expertise in MS Office, [MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint] * Highly organized, ability to manage time and prioritize tasks * Passion for excellence - extremely detail oriented * Professional appearance and demeanour * Willingness to travel Education: Degree in life science or degree in liberal arts, marketing or communications with a strong appreciation for medical science and an interest in pharmaceutical marketing.
