Overview The role euNetworks is continuing on its successful growth trajectory and as a result our legal team needs to expand. In the role of Legal Counsel, you will be providing legal advice and services regarding euNetworks' UK and other European operations. What do we do? As a leading bandwidth infrastructure provider, euNetworks owns and operates deep fibre networks in 17 cities across Europe and also operates a highly differentiated long haul network that spans the region. euNetworks continues to invest in its network, building unique routes, adding multiple diverse paths and extending reach into key hyperscale sites, data clusters and aggregation points. These investments fuel the company's growth and are driven by the bandwidth demands of its customers. Responsibilities What will you be doing? Reporting to a Director in the legal team, you will be providing in-house legal support to all areas of euNetworks' operations. Primary responsibilities will include: * Reviewing, drafting and negotiating: * customer agreements for networking services * procurement agreements for hardware, software and services * property and right-of-way agreements * other legal agreements as required * Providing commercial and contractual advice to the business * Providing support and advice on general claims and litigation management * Providing company secretarial and corporate support. Additional responsibilities will include: * Corporate regulatory and compliance activities in the UK (and other European jurisdictions as required) * Support of merger and acquisition activity as and when required * Ad-hoc project support as and when required by the General Counsel. Qualifications We'd like you to bring to us. * Lawyer qualified in England and Wales or another common law jurisdiction with between one and two years' post qualification experience * Excellent academic credentials * Strong contract law knowledge * Strong drafting skills and experience * Strong interpersonal skills * Business and commercially minded * Ability to advise and drive commercial solutions * Highly motivated, pragmatic, self-starter * Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment * Ability to work independently with high levels of personal responsibility, managing large volumes of work, including a variety of commercial and corporate matters * Ability to work with colleagues at all levels of seniority from teams across the entire business; * Additional European languages (French or Dutch in particular) would be highly advantageous but not essential.
