Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will work closely with the Production Engineering Manager and Planned Maintenance Administrator and have primary responsibility for all maintenance planning activities. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: * Perform maintenance and outage planning and scheduling activities that include material requisitioning, manpower estimating, job standards, preventive and predictive maintenance, and equipment cost estimating * Responsible for creating daily/weekly maintenance plans * Ownership of yearly maintenance plans * To optimise available engineering resource to maintain and improve operational effectiveness * Effectively liaise with engineering stores support to align job kitting and lead times * Maintain effective communication * Responsible for reporting planning KPI's * Responsible for planning 3rd party service contracts * Assisting with RCA's relating to machine failure * Key system user responsible for asset structure, document control of new installs (CMMS) * Review of Planned Maintenance effectiveness in conjunction with the Chief Engineer * Develop maintenance improvement techniques * Support reliability centered maintenance / Failure Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA) relating to maintenance performance * Actively seek to deliver the most cost-effective maintenance planning solution * Review planned maintenance activities and identify opportunities to improve cost effectiveness * Support proactively all EH&S procedures and policies Skills and Experience: Essential: * Knowledge and experience in planning work for adherence to legislative standards * Good communication and organisational skills * Strong team working, prioritisation and problem-solving skills * Be flexible and be able to work on own initiative * Have a high level of attention to detail * Computer literacy, experienced in using Excel and Word Desirable: * Experience in an engineering maintenance team, carrying out maintenance in a FMCG environment * Knowledgeable in Lean Management or CI * Knowledge of SAP system What we can offer you in return: * Competative salary * Pension up to 7.5% Company contribution * Access to an employee discount scheme, with access to hundreds of retailers nationwide * Wide range of online and in-house training Our much-loved brands include Mr Kipling, Cadbury, Bisto, Batchelors, Ambrosia, Sharwood's, Oxo, Loyd Grossman, Homepride, Paul Hollywood and McDougall's, with some supported by our strategic partnerships with Mondelez and Nissin.
