Data Analyst The Role Join Hearst Magazines as a Data Analyst working with our Consumer Data team! The team is rapidly growing and manages vast analytics and data pipeline that supports data driven, multi-channel marketing and insights. You will ideally have strong experience working within CRM and Digital function (agency or client side) analysing large sets of structured and unstructured data using SQL. Insights produced should inform business make strategic-based decisions. Key Responsibilities Produce in-depth reports using customer, transactional and behavioural data Build customer and product segments Produce actionable insights to drive business and marketing decisions Present insights to senior stakeholders Day to day activities: Liaise with internal stakeholders on analytics requirements Review and respond to analytics brief requests Liaise with agency partners to brief them on data structural changes required to run analysis and produce segmentation Liaise with 3rd party data suppliers to understand data structures / formats etc. Upkeep of data model documentation and educating data team on new data structures Maintain process quality checks Essential skills and experience required for this role: Strong CRM and digital marketing exposure Strong SQL coding skills Working with large data sets Familiar with AWS cloud-based solution Manipulation of various kinds of data such as structured, unstructured, log files etc. Nice to have: Publisher / Media background Knowledge of Data visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power Bi etc. Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar role Bachelor's degree
