Job Description
Can you tell when you're looking at the next big thing? The Consumer Insight team at Eburyare looking for a Data and Insight Analyst to join them in this new, permanent opportunity. Ebury is the largest non-fiction division within PenguinRandom House, and they publish books ranging from Marie Kondo to Yotam Ottolenghiand a host of excellent talent in-between ( Working across numerous genres including cookery, personal development, lifestyle and entertainment, the successful candidate will be able to look at data, spot whether something or someone is the next big thing and help to find the right language and keywords to promote it. If you've worked with data before in a sales, advertising, or social media context then this is a great way to join a creative and innovative part of the publishing industry. If you've worked as part of a metadata team within a sales context, this will be a way to extend that role and experience into a new way of working. The right candidate will be curious about consumer behaviour and be quick to identify business opportunities or sales growth. You'll be organised, self-motivated and keen to explore new tools to help find talent or consumer trends. You'llhave an ear to the ground and will always be on the lookout for the latest thing. Your communication skills both written and verbal will be excellent, and you'llbe able to separate the detail from the top line easily. The ability to present complex ideas effectively and enthusiastically over email and in person will be essential, alongside beinga good multi tasker who can shift focus quickly.
