Job Description

Barts Health is looking for a Band 6 paediatric staff to work within Children's services at their Royal London site. Opportunities have arisen on 7E Respiratory, 7F Haemotology / Oncology, Orthopaedic Trauma& Surgery, Gastro Surgery and on our Short stay assessment unit for motivated, committed individuals. These areas are part of a versatile and dynamic service, committed to high quality holistic care with an emphasis on working in partnership with the children and their families. The post holder will have excellent communication skills and be adaptable. They will be keen to learn and develop new skills and knowledge through the availability of a variety of training opportunities whilst facilitation the learning needs of others. The post holder will be expected to take a role in supporting the ward manager to develop services, manage the day to day running of the ward and be involved in the management of a team of staff. Barts Health has a busy and demanding children's service requiring staff to be flexible in their working. The post holder will be required to work within a challenging clinical environment and undertake shift work which will include nights and weekends.
