Job Description

My client is a Mid cap focused UK Investment Bank, headquartered in London, and with an enviable reputation and client list. They have been growing out their Public Company M&A Advisory team over the last few years and are now looking to add a Deal Manager to the team - either a senior Associate or a junior VP - who will be expected to manage a range of M&A transactions. Working alongside their Industry Sector colleagues, they advise on all matters of both public and private M&A activity from targeting to strategy and best execution. They advise both offerors and offerees, retained clients and outside parties on a variety of deals, particularly in the context of public company M&A work, working within the UK Takeover code rules. Therefore any interested candidates will need to have managed at least a few deals of this nature. Key Requirements: * Attention to detail, technical and modelling skills * Creating, drafting and managing presentations and memoranda to clients * Day-to-day deal execution and project management for both public and private M&A transactions - able to run and manage a process relatively autonomously * Regular interaction with clients and leading meetings * Confident communication and strong client management skills * Committed team player demonstrating the highest standards of integrity and professional ethics * ACA or Legal backgrounds are of special interest The Candidate: * Confident communicator * Enthusiastic, energetic and well organised with strong attention to detail * Self-starter, able to work autonomously as well as being a great team player * A problem solver, you will be able to work under pressure Essential Requirements: * 6+ years of M&A/corporate finance experience, with a top-tier investment bank, boutique or Big 4 accountancy firm. ACA or legal qualification highly desired. * 2i or above from a leading university * Fluent in English * London based
