Mail General Manager - Amazing gym 30k -34k Basic depending on experience OTE 50k + The opportunity to support the SECOND club opening and develop to a senior/regional Manager! We are recruiting for this health and fitness job in Watford. This is an exciting and rare opportunity with an up and coming leisure brand, to run this relatively new club. We are looking to recruit a Club Manager who will bring experience and passion to a world leading health club operator. For this role you will have a strong sales and commercial focus and put the member journey at the heart of your operation - a real and genuine passion for these skills is an absolute must! The club will be ideally located on a business park and filled with brand new state of the art equipment and offers everything from interactive cardio to Pin / plate loaded resistance machines to a full range of free weights and a really cool outdoor functional training area. The role of a General Manager is a mixture of several key areas and you will have full responsibility for your club and all that it entails. Some of these key areas that are extremely important to have and are those that we are looking for are: * Operations - although sales is important, experience in product delivery and optimising the member journey is vital. You must have a track record of success in achieving high member satisfaction and have a genuine love of fitness. * People Management skills - you'll need to inspire your team, develop them, lead them and create an environment where they can truly thrive. * Sales - you will be expected to be creative and to consistently drive sales through successfully training your team, leading by example and creating opportunities for them to be successful * Standards - you will need to set and maintain high standards and present a willingness to accept only the best of yourself and your team. We are looking for someone who has General/Club management experience already and who is looking for an exciting new challenge where they have the opportunity for genuine autonomy and creativity. This role would suit candidates who are currently working as a: Club Manager, General Manager, Assistant Manager, Duty Manager, Sales Manager, Operations Manager, Deputy Manager, Senior Sales Advisor.
