We're looking for an exceptional Head of Talent to bring depth of experience and credibility to Attest on that journey of growth; to maintain and build upon the already strong foundations of one of our proudest achievements: our people-first culture. The mission for this role is to... Be the face of all things hiring and talent at Attest, leading from the front when it comes to role modelling great hiring behaviours, with even better communication that is human-centric, yet optimised for scalability. As our first permanent Talent hire, you will play a pivotal role in how we create and build a world-class cross-functional Talent team. You'll build, maintain and constantly improve the way we attract, interact and part with Talent. From consistent, fair and transparent hiring and onboarding processes that are data-driven and optimise for the right balance between delivering an excellent candidate experience and identifying and attracting great talent in the most effective way for all teams, to ensuring we promote our Employer brand through writing, speaking, teaching and creating a fantastic and unique candidate experience so that candidates want to talk about us and our process in a positive light, even when they don't end up joining Attest. Your initial focus will be... Upskilling, coaching, and modelling best-in-class hiring behaviours and practices. You'll draw on your deep experience and understanding of all things hiring and talent to strike the right balance of coaching, challenging and supporting Attesters to develop their general and team-specific hiring toolkits, and proactively upskilling others when it comes to hiring behaviours. Building strong relationships across the wider team. It will be crucial for you to form strong relationships with Attesters across the organisation, and truly become the trusted go-to person on all things talent in your first few weeks and months, establishing yourself as knowledgeable, reliable, trustworthy and open to new ideas, so that any Attester, from hiring managers to the newest member of the team, feel excited about discussing talent and hiring with you. Continuously evaluate and improve. You'll spend time understanding our existing hiring practices and talent strategy, and designing ways to improve upon it. Ranging from speed/efficiency, effectiveness, optimisation for diversity and mitigation of bias, candidate experience (incl. the stages of hiring and technical tasks run by different teams), consistency, transparency, fairness, through to any potential GDPR or other compliance gaps, we fully expect you to shine a spotlight on the things we could improve on (or add), always optimising for scalability of our talent function across London and globally. We want you
