Job Description

We are currently seeking an Engagement Manager to join our growing team in London.In your role as a Engagement Manager, you will be a key member of the senior team, contributing to strategic planning and decision making and integral to the client engagement team, running project teams committed to developing and delivering executable project outcomes to meet specific objectives of our global clients. You will be required to work proactively and collaboratively with numerous stakeholders, to ensure smooth running and delivery of multiple projects. Key Accountabilities: * Understanding and delivering the clients strategic needs, beyond immediate projects * Managing client interactions, taking a lead role in project discussions and presentations to clients * Building strong client relationships while ensuring projects profitability * Actively contributing to business development activities, and client proposals preparation * Taking ownership of some key client accounts, supporting client retention and repeat business * Member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to guiding the overall strategy of the company * Providing problem solving leadership and expert perspective, guiding multiple teams and projects * Assigning and managing team work, providing support and oversight and ensuring high qualityproject deliverables * Manage, mentor and support each team member paying attention to their strengths and development needs * Ensuring projects are delivered on time and in accordance with the project plans, quality control practices and agreed deliverables Key Skills/Personal Qualities: Technical Skills: * Minimum 4 years of relevant experience * Practical knowledge of at least one of our practice areas e.g. market research, competitive intelligence or market access, pricing and reimbursement * Previously held multiple project management roles * Track record of mentoring and developing talent * Masters or higher degree (PhD, MBA) in a life science subject from a leading university and/or relevant experience in biopharma, healthcare or consulting. * Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word * Foreign language skills are preferred Behavioural Skills: * Strategic mindset and problem solving skills * Customer-focused and able to build strong and lasting client relationships * Strong communication skills - good listener and observer with the ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, verbally and in writing to any audience * Leader able to work independently and guide teams to success * Curious and critical thinker - passionate about learning new things and striving to do things better * Ability to multi-task and deliver high quality outputs under time-pressured deadlines through project teams * Team builder able to build credible and strong professional relationships across culturally diverse teams * Excellent attention to detail * Drive and ambition to progress and grow personal capability
