We also focus on additional specialty classes such as transport, political risk, crisis management, kidnap and ransom, contingency, property and treaty reinsurance. The opportunity You will work with and support the Head of Portfolio Management and Business Planning in decision making through data gathering and analysis, as well as on-going portfolio MI production/monitoring and provide effective reporting and analysis to management and underwriting teams. Responsibilities * Analyse underwriting performance across multiple business lines; * Responsible for producing effective and accurate MI to agreed deadlines; * Produce high quality reports to monitor KPIs and key metrics; * Support the Head of Portfolio Management and Business Planningin the execution of Portfolio Management; * Collate data on forecasting to support the Financial forecasting; * Support/produce IMC packs and PPR packs for Head of Portfolio Management and Business Planningand HOD's. About You * Previous insurance industry experience; * Experience within an analytical role producing quality MI & reporting; * Strong pricing, data modelling and analysis experience; * Strong IT literacy with solid SQL and MS Office skills, particularly in Excel (including VBA); * A high level of numeric competence; excellent data gathering and manipulation skills; * Actuarial experience would be desirable; * Experience of working with multiple stakeholders across different departments; * Strong communication skills; * Maths, Science, Economics or Engineering degree; * Maths A-Level (A*- B) What can Talbot offer you?
