The candidate will have the right blend of programming, financial markets knowledge and technology driven mindset as well as a eagerness to learn new skills. Key Work Level Accountabilities: Experienced Colleague: * Accountable for providing a quality service or product to customers and stakeholders, using skills/experience built through significant practical experience or training * For team leaders, accountable for ensuring the team the role supports is delivering a quality service or product * Works within established frameworks and procedures, with the freedom to interpret them to solve a range of problems * Delivers outputs that are clearly defined, using discretion over how to achieve them * Makes suggestions for improvements to the work of the team, based on previous experience and knowledge of similar situations Key Responsibilities for this role: * Own, maintain and improve existing our existing analytics processes and products. * Develop, maintain and enhance our data quality checks and where needed streamline and further automate processes. * Collaborate with our Technology team to help develop our analytics platform * Develop scalable analytical solutions for investment teams across multiple asset classes in an agile development environment Key Stakeholders * Investment teams across multiple asset classes - portfolio managers, research analysts, portfolio analysts, risk analysts. * Technology teams - scrum masters, business analysts, developers, testers. * Operational data teams - data managers, data administrators and security pricing professionals. Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience: * Programming/data exploration skills. Preferably practical experience with one (or more) of the following languages: SQL, R, Python, VBA, JavaScript. * Experience working with data visualisation tools like Spotfire, Power BI or equivalent. * Experience working with Aladdin would be beneficial. * Experience within financial markets with knowledge of multiple asset classes, preferably having worked in asset management for a year or couple of years. * Right mindset to progress in an investment analytics area which comes with expanding programming skills (being proficient in a couple of languages), acquiring domain knowledge covering all asset classes and being able to discuss investment ideas with investment professionals as a partner or enhance your data exploration skills to enable advanced analytics.
