Job Description
Badoo is looking for an additional Data Scientist to join our team building exciting in-house tools. We've built tools for anomaly detection, real-time analytics and billing optimizations, and want someone to help us to build even greater ones! The ideal candidate likes challenging optimisation tasks, and combines strong business knowledge with experience in machine learning algorithms and extremely large data sets. Responsibilities/Job Role * Wrangle complex datasets (sometimes dirty data) with a range of programming tools * Deliver actionable insights to product, billing, engineering and operations teams * Perform analysis across a variety of data topics and help solve challenges such as user clusterization, performance tuning, and anomaly detection * Contribute to on-going infrastructure improvements * Participate in complex analytical tasks, A/B tests and data visualisation to present findings for senior management Key Skills and Experience * Very good knowledge of Python for data analysis (Pandas, statsmodels, numpy, scikit-learn, ipython notebooks) * Fluency in SQL (analytic functions, performance tuning, data cleaning) * Experience in data mining and matching different data sources together to get the result * Statistical modelling (statistics, regression, forecasting, time series analysis) * Machine learning (supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised) * Experience in A/B testing analysis (significance analysis, multi-handed bandits) * Data Visualisation (D3, matplotlib, seaborn) * Experience in deployment of machine learning project in production desirable * Python web development (Tornado, Flask, unit tests) desirable * Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Exasol desirable * Version Control experience (Git) desirable About Badoo There's nothing ordinary about working at Badoo.
