We're looking for an experienced and talented Software Developer in Test to join our existing cross-functional development team. You should have a strong focus on testing and always be looking to improve our development process. You'll be working on applications for some of our largest customers. An ideal candidate will have strong testing capabilities with an interest to pick up additional languages/architectures quickly. You will be reporting to a dedicated Project Manager. You will have strong self-motivation and the ability to solve tough problems on your own. Responsibilities / Job Role * Plan, write and execute both manual and automated tests. * Work with software developers and project support teams. * Carry out stress, performance, functional and scalability testing. * Write bug reports. * Provide objective feedback to software development project teams. * Troubleshoot and problem solve. * Communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues. Key Skills / Experience * Exposure to software testing principles and techniques. * Experience in test automation. * Experience working with REST APIs * Development experience in an object-orientated language, preferably Python/PHP. * Some experience with Linux would be beneficial. * Experience working with common Internet protocols such as IP, TCP, HTTP/S, DNS, FTP and/or SSL * Familiarity with issue management tracking tools such as JIRA or similar. * Experience with web-based testing using Selenium. * Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab or similar. * Experience working in an Agile environment You'll also have access to company paid training services as we're keen for you to grow your skills.
