The programme is a high profile initiative which requires team members to demonstrate creativity and a collaborative approach to problem solving and play an active role in transforming the business. Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced business analyst to join the Operations TOM Programme and support the Middle Office workstream. The successful candidate will be part of a team with responsibility for enhancing the scalability and efficiency of operations and the service to the investment teams. Key Work Level Accountabilities Manager or Expert: * For people managers, accountable for managing and motivating others to ensure quality of delivery to customers and stakeholders * For technical specialists, accountable for delivering expert advice or service, using specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise * Applies judgement to deliver outcomes, evaluating a range of potential solutions, considering the impact for customers, cost and risk * Manages conflicts that may impact delivery * Challenges upwards given knowledge of delivery and awareness of complex systems and the broader picture * Identifies and anticipates need for changes to continuously improve quality and efficiency of output * Manages resources and risks using expert judgment, know-how and experience Key Responsibilities for this role: The Middle Office Business Analysts is responsible for reviewing the middle office processes and satellite systems centred around Aladdin, identifying improvement opportunities in the current operating model and implementing enhancements in organisation, process and automation to deliver scalability in support of business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for: * Working with business SMEs to shape future design and requirements * Preparing materials for use in analysis and solutions development workshops * Facilitating workshops / meetings / interviews with business SMEs * Creating deliverables and facilitating sign-off from business SMEs * Gathering and capturing business requirements * Undertaking analysis and solution design for improvements * Providing documentation and facilitating discussion of any functional and technical issues to be reviewed with the Design Authority (DA) * Performing business process engineering and documenting changes to procedures Supporting IT development with business requirements * Ensuring the system is tested against requirements * Supporting operational readiness and go-live Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience: The candidate should be organised, proactive and self motivated with: * A minimum of 5 years' experience in the investment management industry * Knowledge / experience of: Middle office processes and systems ,Business analysis including; requirements, process reengineering and procedures, Problem solving and solution design * Good communication and stakeholder management skills Ideally, the candidate would have: Knowledge of BRS Aladdin System implementation and testing experience Work Level: Manager/Expert Recruiter Name: Simone Morris Closing Date: 13th June 2020 We live by four behaviours at M&G and we ask all our employees to: * Inspire Others - Support and encourage each other, creating an environment where everyone can contribute and succeed * Embrace Change - Be open to change, willing to be challenged and able to adapt quickly and imaginatively to new ideas * Deliver Results - Focus on outcomes, set hig
