Purpose The Solution Consultant is the subject matter expert on the solution delivery methodology for all Confluence risk products and services. Individuals are expected to interact with various functional stakeholders and leaders throughout the organization to promote, support and drive the successful deployment of all solutions. Essential Responsibilities * Operational Responsibilities * Act as a solution delivery expert for internal and external customers. * Identify and develop client delivery strategies for implementing Confluence products and services * Work with project manager and project teams to ensure assigned projects complete within the agreed upon project success criteria while ensuring project governance processes are maintained * Act as a technical escalation point for issues identified within client projects and day-to-day support activities * Act as a key decision maker and/or influencer on operational issues pertaining to, but not exclusive to, project scope change management, project pricing, operational priorities, and departmental expenditures * Continuously provide recommendations on business process improvement initiatives that contribute to the larger Confluence corporate and departmental strategic goals. This may include providing detailed analysis and recommendations, as requested, on critical services business functions * Create risk mitigation strategies to minimize or eliminate the impact to departmental, project or individual employee goals * Leadership Responsibilities * Provider leadership and direction to implementation teams assign to work with you on projects with the aim of achieving the agreed upon solution delivery strategy * Work with Professional Services leadership and/or lead process improvement initiatives. * Maintain an awareness of the wider context within Confluence Technologies and respond accordingly * Facilitate project meetings, as required, and provide updates to peers and staff on progress and status. * Address challenges and manage change in support of company goals * Promote the activities of the team both internally and externally as appropriate Qualifications * Degree educated and most likely holding a CIPM or CFA charter. * 5-7 years of experience in software delivery or risks analytics software or within a risk analytics operations team. Essential Skills * A strong understanding of investment analysis techniques and calculations including performance, attribution, advanced risk analysis (VaR, Stress Testing, Back Testing, Risk Attribution etc.) and analytics. Understanding of supporting operational workflow and data dependencies as well as understanding of different asset classes and instrument types. This business expertise is a must for this role. * Understanding of supporting operational workflow and data dependencies as well as understanding of different asset classes and instrument types. * Experience in working with the above at the sub portfolio level down to security level. * A good knowledge of composite and account reporting to achieve and maintain GIPS compliance * Strong knowledge of the investment management industry and key fund accounting concepts. Candidates with CIPM, or CFA charter will be preferred. Sound knowledge and understanding of Information Technology within a data and analytical context. * Proven experience in the use of investment management systems particularly analytics systems * Demonstrated ability to work in a global, multicultural environment wherein diplomacy and a passion for diversity are paramount * Asset Management Middle/Back office or in a Fund Accounting experience, or within an analytics technology software organization. * Proven ability to successfully manage client interaction, planning, training, execution and delivery * Ability to analyze problems and identify resolutions at a strategic and functional level
