Job Overview: The Content Marketing Manager will define and guide Bazaarvoice's global content strategy to deliver on business goals and objectives. Because our business is all about digital marketing excellence, our content and storytelling needs to set at a very high-standard within our category to reflect our leadership within it. Content Manager runs the show when it comes to defining our content strategy, project delivery, and consulting key stakeholders, alongside owning the full end-to-end content creation and lifecycle process. Their day-to-day work is varied, from storyboarding videos to writing editorial briefs, directing infographic design, defining webinar topics to improving web copy. The role is a hybrid of an editor, project manager and content marketing strategist. This role will plan, create, and maintain a library of high-value, data-driven, and search-engine-optimized content that meets the information needs of specific client segments in defined buying cycle stages. This person will work across the marketing team and broader organization (including main spokespeople) to provide all types of content for clients and prospects and will work closely with product marketing, demand generation, creative, PR, web, and social media teams to develop and deploy that content. Attractive candidates will bring strong writing skills, editing skills and knowledge of B2B marketing best practices. We are looking for someone with the intelligence to assimilate complex information, and the artistry to see the story and the creativity to come up with winning ideas that really engage. Responsibilities: * Responsible for the Bazaarvoice content marketing strategy and ensuring it delivers against agreed KPIs and timelines. * Researching and writing sophisticated editorial briefs for multimedia thought leadership content; commissioning subject matter expert journalists/copywriters, editing and proofing editorial copy. * Create consensus between management, marketing, product, and field teams on key themes and assets required to meet business goals. * Working with the in-house design team to create innovative and useful content and assets. * Working with our in-house team to direct data storytelling prioirties. Designing proprietary research proposals and questionnaires, as well as analysing survey results. * Working with our web team to build engaging content and interactive web design that is SEO optimised. * Implement framework to ensure all campaign plans include content needs in terms of type (eBook, video, presentation, etc.), target audience (buying cycle stage, persona, vertical, etc.), products and solutions it supports and key messages. * Ensure that brand messaging, Bazaarvoice brand voice, and audience experience is consistent across all deliverables. * Manage the Global editorial calendar and resources to create, rollout and retire content. * Oversee content measurement and KPIs, including the design and operation of relevant dashboards, reports and analyses. * Carry out quarterly content audits to identify what content is working best and where we have gaps to fill or content to retire. Oversee ongoing maintenance of content library. * Manage internal and agency resources to deliver localization and translation of key content. * Manage contract copywriters, including budget, payment, project oversight, and review cycles. * Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in UI/UX, SEO, and content marketing. * Partner with PR and agencies to position Bazaarvoice as thought leaders in market and raise awareness of the company. Requirements: * Background in editorial content creation or content marketing * An understanding of the B2B buyer journey and how content suports at each stage * Bachelor's degree (communications, marketing or journalism degree preferred) * Editorial expertise, superior copywriting and verbal communications skills * Experience writing for all content types (including webinars, blog posts, ebook, ad-copy, video briefs, social, email etc.) * Experience managing editorial calendars and stakeholder expectations * Experience project managing external suppliers and internal resources * Experience running content audits and comfortable using data to make informed decisions about where to invest future resources * Understands SEO from a content standpoint and how content can improve SEO health * Full authorisation to work in U.K without any restrictions * Executive Communicatiosn experience Desirable: * Experience
