Our piling and foundations team provides internationally recognised geo-technical engineering solutions to the UK construction industry and beyond. We have bought new ideas and technology to projects like HS2, Crossrail, The Gherkin and the Amsterdam Metro. As part of our global community of experts, you'll be working on some of the world's most exciting civil engineering projects. Currently we are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to strengthen our Ground Engineering team for a number of complex projects based in London. This is a key role which will be focussed on operational delivery and requires a strong background in both the technical aspects (including design and specification) and also the construction and plant associated with the range of ground engineering solutions that we offer, including grouting, ground anchors and minipiling. You Will: * Act as the Project and Engineering management lead ensuring design and quality compliance. * Act as overall lead for Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Environment on site(s) * Understand the design intent and requirements and ensure construction is proceeding in accordance with both. Maintaining records and dialogue with the designer regarding any variations. * Be responsible for day to day commercial management in collaboration with commercial team * Produce and maintain method statements, risk assessments and ITPs * Maintain close working relationship with our plant facility Bentley Works. Work collaboratively with BW and all other business functions to deliver 'best for business' outcomes * Develop and maintain customer, engineer and stakeholder relationships We're Looking For: * Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering subject or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering * Significant experience in ground engineering disciplines such as Minipiling, restricted access piling, Ground anchors and specialist grouting techniques. * Solid understanding of Ground Engineering principles with detailed technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practice. * Health, safety & wellbeing and environmental management experience to current standards * CEng MICE (desirable) * Relevant CSCS card A career with us means you'll have the freedom to develop your skills and leave your mark on the communities in which we work.
