The Tech Alliances Engagement Manager is aligned to the broader Technology Alliances team and will be responsible for leading field level sales engagement with Talend's most strategic cloud and independent software technology partners. In this role you will own the sell together responsibilities in a given geography and ensure that 1. Talend Field sellers engage the appropriate partners on their opportunities. Objective: improve account collaboration to increase win rate and increase pipeline 2. Identify the preferred SI and VAR vendors for our strategic cloud partners and connect them with the Talend Channels team. Objective: align with the channels firms that are creating opportunities in accounts and recommending technology. 3. Ensure Talend & Partner sellers understand Talend's technology fit & function for projects, follow the joint GTM plays & motions as well as conduct proper engagement and communications to support field collaboration. A key success factor will be the ability to build strong relationships across the Talend field organization and with the Sellers and Cloud Solution Architects at AWS, Snowflake, Microsoft, Databricks, Cloudera and select other strategic partners. The successful person will be able to connect and navigate throughout these sales organizations to connect sellers. Responsibilities: * Work closely with extended sales teams including Sales RVP's, Channel Managers, Field Marketing, Sales Engineers and Account Executives, to qualify joint opportunities and engage with our Technology Partners Sellers. * Ensure Corporate developed programs & messaging are followed and implemented in the field. * Identify and track relevant metrics of success and best practices: Opportunities created, opportunities sourced & shared, pipeline created, bookings won, partner portal integrity * Establish and continually promote best practices for partner engagement to Talend field sellers * Ensure that partner deals are accurately reflected in the Talend CRM system and the Partner's Portal Systems. * Lead initial introductions between Talend and partner field sales organizations. * Provide ongoing sales enablement and be able to articulate the Talend value proposition to partner sellers. * Coordinate sales efforts across a matrixed organization including Talend sales, marketing and channel organization * Identify areas for improvement in joint selling and develop plans to drive that improvement.
