We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Digital Technology Director, to be responsible for the development and execution of IT strategy and operations for Consumer Health and Vision care within EMEA. As a member of the Global Digital Technology group, this role works with the EMEA IT Leadership team, eCommerce functions and business leaders to define digital technology strategy and agenda, formulate approaches and agree priorities for the region. They define, drive, communicate and gain alignment to the technology strategy, standards and process, and ensure these are delivered consistently across our brand and digital initiatives. They provide leadership to develop and deploy initiatives that meet our EMEA digital business needs. Key Responsibilities: + Own the strategic vision and innovation for continued business development, channeling the needs of our customers, markets and communities into clear digital technology solutions. + Encourage an inclusive environment where leadership and talent development is top priority. Take ownership for talent acquisition, performance and development of self and others. + Build the digital technology roadmaps which clearly communicates the digital journey for change across the EMEA region. Ensuring that projects are executed against time and budget expectations while ensuring quality, consistency and compliance. + A key team member of the Digital Marketing community to establish and implement digital standards and guidelines which guide the design of technology solutions across the digital ecosystem! + Coordinate the process to evaluate new technologies and industry trends. Work closely with the Global Product lines and IT partners to identify new technologies, approaches and processes to address digital needs. Provide standards criteria for 3rd party solutions evaluation. + Build annual digital IT budgeting and ensure this provides strategic business needs for the capital expenditure, reporting on and tracking financials to ensure execution within budgets. Qualifications QualificationsEducation: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Experience and Skills: A digital technology leader with a proven track record; covering application of digital technology for web, eCommerce (B2B and B2C), mobile, CRM and Digital Asset Management. Outstanding business partnering, influencing and teamwork skills. Lead and mange diverse delivery teams, business partners, agencies and partners, with ability to navigate mutually helpful outcome. Required: Extensive experience in the following areas: + Leading digital projects and associated interdependencies, including: online advertising, campaigns, connected devices, signage and social media. + Developing strategic programs across various digital/web/mobile technologies including responsive design, analytics and dashboards, SEO/SEM, campaign management, service integration, marketing database, etc. + Working with multiple digital agencies, driving standards, processes and strategic partnerships from a delivery perspective. Preferred: + Prior experience in online marketing and/or advertising as well as user experience design. + In depth knowledge of CMS (Content Management Systems), design systems, distributed content approaches across digital channels, mobile and social development technologies. + Experienced with SDLC methodology, DevOps, understanding of issues covering site architecture, UI and navigation and familiarity with software quality assurance processes.
