For more information, please visit www.edftrading.com Department As part of the Data Engineering team, Market Data Systems team is responsible for the complete systems surrounding the different market data databases available in the company (in particular Pricing and Fundamental data). The team looks after the data feeds, validation, derivation, etc... including APIs or other methods to expose the data to the different users. The team is based on the front office trading floor, has a broad range of complementary skill sets and is dynamic yet highly disciplined in its approach. The team acts as one of the interfaces between the business and the various IT departments. The team has direct contact with Front Office (Traders and Analytical team), Middle Office and Back Office. Gaining an understanding on the data required for a Commodity Trading company. Position purpose Responsible for the analysis, development and support of market data systems used by the Front Office teams, Middle and BackOffice as well as EDF Group and other partner companies. The Market Data Systems include data services for the onboarding, storage and delivery of market data, both internal and externally generated. This will encompass requirements definition and gathering, technical design and development through to unit testing, deployment and documentation. Data access support may be required for a range of applications and tools which call upon EDFT's Market data systems. These applications and tools are written in a variety of technologies/languages.
