In everything we do, we seek to make a real difference to the communities in which we operate. Location Overview The Freshfields Global Centre provides both business and legal services to the firm. Our services are delivered in a way which supports the global nature of our firm and our clients, enables our fee earners to deliver exceptional service to our clients and to do that in a way which is efficient and effective. Our Centre in Manchester is the first site to be established in the emerging Freshfields Global operating model. Our aspiration is to establish further sites in the US and Asia-Pacific in the coming years. Function Overview Join our Global IT Team as we expand our Client Facing Applications team to meet global mandates and provide technology solutions to meet them. Over the last few months we've created and developed a Client Facing Applications team to work with our Legal stakeholders and clients to develop and maintain solutions. These solutions are presented on a range of platforms from cloud to mobile and are produced using the latest best practice and technology. We're looking to increase our development capability to meet our clients demand and the challenges of our new engagements. The Role The Client Facing Applications team works closely with Innovation and our Labs projects to extend our existing estate, develop Microservices and integrations for new services and build solutions which directly address client and business needs. We have taken a cloud first approach leveraging Azure and are building out a platform capability to progress development quickly. The role will be working with a small development team to meet these requirements of Platform building / Application Development including Feature enhancements and Code Governance Framework.
