Forty-six years since the first Pride march in London, Pride in London has a renewed sense of purpose to highlight the challenges still facing the LGBT+ community today despite progress. We are run by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity and are drawn from all walks of life; together we pull off the UK's biggest free LGBTQ+ community event every year. Pride aims to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ issues and campaign for the freedoms that will allow all our community to live their lives on a genuinely equal footing. Around 150 people volunteer year-round to help us deliver what has become a world-class Pride. We welcome applications from everybody and are especially keen to attract new volunteers from the BAME, Trans, Bi, Non-binary and Queer communities who we would love to see more widely represented in our organisation. Your new team Strategic Partnerships is the team responsible for Pride in London's income generation in relation to all corporate partnerships deals. The team as a collective help to generate new business, negotiate contracts and then manage that relationship throughout its tenure. A lot of the partnership's benefits relate specifically to the day itself but additional activation throughout the year is key to the activation's success. Specific activation within each partnership can include but isn't limited to, on the day branding, social media posts, logo/ website management, marketing campaign management and parade/ event logistics. Other events and partnerships such as the Gala, Pride run, and Pride in the City form a much bigger portfolio that the team also oversee. We make sure all companies go through a rigorous ethnical process to ensure the partnership activation is requested with the right intentions. Your new volunteer role The kind of activities you will be doing day to day include: * Overseeing the activation management of all assets assigned to each partnership agreement to make sure PiL fulfil their contractual obligations (contracts with a total worth of circa one million pounds). * Making sure each agreed asset is logged correctly and then activated accordingly at the designated time by the appropriate PiL team. This can range massively from 'on the day' branding and campaign videos to gala tickets, website coverage or additional activation clauses i.e. additional paid for branding in other areas or at other events that don't fit the standard matrix. * Being responsible for reviewing the signed contracts and logging the detail accurately for monitoring across the year. This could include additional clauses in regard to contract expiry dates, additional collaborations or communication agreements. * Making sure these asset agreements are activated in a timely manner to ensure all contractual obligations are met with no issues. * Working with the Project and Account Management team to make sure all issues or anomalies are flagged in a timely manner so they can be rectified as quickly as possible. * Working with the Director, Deputy Director and Legal Teams (including PiL's representative law firm) to ensure the final drafts are saved centrally and all information is stored and easily retrieved to ensure an accurate source of truth at all times and to make historical reference to if required. * Working closely with the PiL teams (Operations mainly) to review and sign off on final drafts of any 'on the day' branding and any parade stipulations (if applicable). * Working closely with other PiL teams (Events, Comms, Marketing) in conjunction with other agreed assets. These could be 'on the day' or throughout the year depending on the asset in question. * Working with the Heads of Departments to ensure clarity in the contract wording and that the documentation once finalised is reviewed thoroughly. Who you are * Must have worked specifically to manage the control of agreed assets across multiple partners to achieve contractual obligations against a large event, series of large events or similar. * Must have substantial experience in corporate partnerships within a professional organisation * Must have been able to create and maintain an effective monitoring system to be able to effectively track asset agreements into activation. * Must be able to work autonomously with an excellent attention to detail * Must have the ability to build relationships with the team to get the information required to complete the job required. * Must be direct and able to ask difficult questions to get the information required. * Must have evening and weekend availability to attend team meetings * Experience using excel or contract asset management systems to fulfil above responsibilities essential * Must be available in the run up to the event (hours to increase to potentially 3+ hours per week in the 8 weeks prio
