Job Description

Digital Asset Librarian (Cybrarian) LOCATION: UK - London or Manchester At MWG our Technology teams are an integral part of our business. They are ceaseless investigators always seeking new and innovative ways to help bring creative and positive ideas to life. In this role you will be "Platform Agnostic", working across multiple digital asset management platforms and sets of client assets to create the best experience for our clients. You will work closely with McCann agencies and clients as well as additional stakeholders. You will spend your time ensuring all assets in our DAM ecosystem are catalogued, tagged and organized to create the best experience possible for our clients and partners. Talk is cheap, and work is hard. The Technology team at MWG is responsible for the vision, architecture, design, development and operations of our global studio platform. Creating the most interesting and effective digital assets is what we do. Putting them at our clients' fingertips in the most intuitive and easy way possible is what sets us apart. Before you get any ideas, it's important you know we're serious about taking care of each other here. Think on that. We work too closely not to have fun together. We work too smart not to make our world better. And we work too well not to continually push for more. Consider all that carefully too. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO The Technology team at MWG guides the technical approach during ideation and execution. As a Digital Asset Librarian, you will be part of a global team of Librarians, Project Managers and solution focused Program Directors who optimize the McCann DAM experience for our agency partners and clients. You have a deep understanding of taxonomy, metadata and the organization of digital assets to ensure the platform is delivering the desired assets/results. You understand that our studios and clients need to make stuff - fast. With this in mind you will optimize workflows for getting assets in and out of the DAM. You will evaluate clients' needs for organization and search requirements so finding assets in the DAM is extremely easy and intuitive. You will track and apply usage rights, following the asset lifecycle to prevent any misuse or untimely release of assets. You will understand the role of DAM as the core of our production technology stack. Most of all, you must be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get your fingers into the assets - up to your elbows, if needed. Key Responsibilities: Organize, catalog, tag and publish assets going into the DAM ecosystem Create, manage and apply appropriate usage rights records to assets in the DAM to prevent the misuse or untimely release of assets. Partner with the Support team to maintain client specific workflows, asset requirements and respond to tier 2/3 support requests.
